Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems seeks a Unit Deployment Manager to support Grand Forks AFB, ND. You will coordinate personnel and equipment deployment, maintain readiness, and liaise with leadership to ensure mission success.

The role requires experience with deployment processes, strong communication, and knowledge of security protocols. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AFI 10-401 and AFI 10-403 and deployment readiness frameworks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills under tight deployment windows.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• 2-5 years of experience with military deployments.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to ensure productivity.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and deploy personnel/equipment to required locations.
• Monitor deployment readiness and status quarterly.
• Run deployment control operations during real-world deployments/exercises.
• Coordinate with squadron leadership to track crew availability.
• Process deployment orders, waivers, and actions with IDRC and DCAPES.
