Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems LLC is seeking a Unit Deployment Manager at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota. The role focuses on deploying personnel and equipment, coordinating with flight leadership, and ensuring squadron readiness across medical, training, and equipment metrics using LOGMOD, ART, and DRRS.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant military deployment experience, strong AFI knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AFI 10-401, AFI 10-403 and combat readiness tracking frameworks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills under deployment windows.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• 2-5 years of experience with military deployments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks for optimum productivity.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Able to communicate with managers, peers and customers.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance or higher (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and deploy personnel and/or equipment to locations as required.
• Monitor training and medical requirements of tasked personnel.
• Track and brief deployed personnel readiness to group leadership.
• Coordinate with squadron leadership to track crew availability.
• Manage UTCs and DRLs within DCAPES.
• Process deployment orders, waivers, and reclama actions with IDRC.
• Oversee deployment baggage and sensitive equipment.
• Coordinate HAZMAT inspections and load plan validation.
• Conduct OPS briefings and staging operations.
• Run the DCC during deployments and contingencies.
