Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking a Network Development Engineer to drive stability and sustainability of next‑generation IP networks supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community.

You will own networking projects from deployment to optimization and work with AWS Infrastructure Services on configurations and tools. The role requires 4+ years in routing protocols and Linux/Unix, plus a relevant degree or security certs.

Qualifications

4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience.
Bachelor's degree, or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CFR (CyberSec First Responder) or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner).
Knowledge of networking protocols, to include HTTP(S), DNS, and TCP/IP.
Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Own and transform networking projects related to deployment, implementation, scaling, and optimization.
Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to ensure fast rollout of new designs and products.
Partner with Infrastructure team on configurations standards and tools.
