Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a seasoned engineer to architect and implement secure cloud connectivity for US Intelligence and DoD workloads. You will design encrypted network pathways, build scalable distributed systems, and mentor peers while collaborating with global teams.

You will participate in on-call rotations and contribute to GenAI-driven development, testing, and documentation to meet stringent security requirements. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP required.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience on new and existing systems.
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, IPSec).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design, build, and implement cloud based services for managing encrypted network connections.
• Build distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, with ease of management and use.
• Influence product direction through data-backed technical insights and framing solutions in terms of business impact.
• Mentor your teammates, helping to grow and develop their technical and operational skills
• Participate in oncall rotation in support of our services
