Job summary

Astrion seeks a Journeyman Administrative Support Specialist to assist the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (HNC) at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. The role demands strong communication, data gathering, and meeting coordination to support senior leadership within AFLCMC.

Ideal candidates have an active TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and 1–2 years of administrative experience, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office. This is a full-time on-site position supporting critical defense programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Associate’s degree in HR, business administration, business management, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years of administrative experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis, procedural competency and process improvement with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Support senior managers with research and compilation of information for projects, producing concise written communications.
• Keep leadership informed on issues related to the mission of the Directorate.
• Monitor progress toward tasking and initiatives.
• Support program events by preparing background information and coordinating meetings, including documentation per policy.
• Draft leadership-approved documents and disseminate program guidance.
• Coordinate and support meetings and conferences, including scheduling, logistics, and setup for in-person and virtual meetings.
• Maintain scheduling documents and manage video/online conferencing setup.
