Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking an experienced VTOC Operations Specialist to design, implement, and maintain AV systems for an intelligence customer in Springfield, VA. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and hands-on expertise with AV networks, video conferencing, and system integration.

You will coordinate with on-site and remote users, perform upgrades, and provide end-user training while ensuring security and accessibility standards are met. A CI Poly is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in AV systems design, installation, and maintenance.
• Willing to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
• Strong knowledge of AV technologies including video conferencing, DSPs, and control systems.
• Experience with AV network protocols and IP-based AV systems.
• Proficiency in AV design software (AutoCAD, Visio).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex AV issues.
• Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, and presentation systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment (projectors, displays, sound systems, control systems).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV issues promptly.
• Manage AV network infrastructure and integration with IT systems.
• Plan and execute AV system upgrades and migrations.
• Provide end-user training on AV equipment and best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for AV configuration and processes.
• Collaborate with IT to align AV with overall technology strategy.
• Manage AV equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement/maintenance.
• Ensure AV systems comply with security protocols and accessibility standards.
• Stay current with emerging AV technologies and propose improvements.
