Job summary

Assured Consulting Solutions seeks an experienced AI/ML Engineer to advance in-house language models for mission-critical data labeling across multimedia sources. You will develop, train, and deploy AI/ML capabilities with a focus on performance and security in a mission-focused environment.

The role demands deep model engineering expertise, collaboration with mission leads, and the ability to deliver production-ready AI services within secure, SCIF-like contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on ML engineering experience with model deployment to production.
• Strong Python software engineering for model development and experimentation.
• Experience deploying LLM-enabled applications and prompting strategies.
• Experience building and operating MLOps infrastructure and pipelines.
• Ability to define and track model performance metrics for mission needs.
• Experience deploying model services in containerized environments (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding secure development and deployment governance in controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate fine-tuning and training pipelines for models.
• Create AI/ML and LLM-enabled solutions for mission needs.
• Design and optimize ML models for new use cases and features.
• Research novel modeling approaches to maximize mission impact.
• Translate operational needs into AI/ML designs and plans.
• Build MLOps and deployment pipelines for tracking and releases.
• Define model performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Integrate model services into secure application workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineers and senior software engineers.
