Job summary

Visionist, Inc. seeks an AI Platform Lead on our largest PRIME contract to guide enterprise LLM-powered platform development for analysts, engineers, and operators. You will lead multiple engineering teams, align with stakeholders, and define requirements for secure, scalable AI capabilities across missions.

The role requires top-tier technical leadership, enterprise experience, and a passion for delivering secure, mission-focused AI solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional 4 years substitutable).
• 12 years of experience in software development.
• Experience building, leading, and mentoring engineering teams with diverse backgrounds.
• Experience engaging with customers and end users to gather requirements and drive adoption.
• Hands-on experience building production applications servicing hundreds to thousands of users.
• Experience designing agentic workflows or multi-agent orchestration systems.
• Experience leveraging AI coding assistants for code generation and automation.

Responsibilities

• Solicit requirements and architect an enterprise agentic platform to power intelligent workflows.
• Work with stakeholders to understand operational workflows and identify automation opportunities.
• Evaluate AI models and infrastructure to balance capability, performance, and cost.
• Advise customers on AI investment strategies and resource allocation.
• Stay current on AI technologies and promote adoption of innovative capabilities.
• Lead and coordinate multiple engineering teams, define requirements, and track execution.
