Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced ML/AI Engineer to join the Joint Staff CDAO team. You will design and operationalize AI/ML capabilities within MSS Foundry, building agentic workflows, production-grade APIs, and MLOps that enable deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in secure DoD environments.

You will collaborate with software and data engineers, mission stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver scalable AI/ML solutions, ensure data governance, and apply responsible AI

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/DS/AI/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of machine learning, AI engineering, or software engineering experience.
• Hands-on production ML/AI experience.
• Experience with AI/ML APIs, services, or integrations.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks/libs.
• Experience with MLOps and lifecycle management.
• Databricks including MLflow/Workflows experience.
• Experience developing, orchestrating, and monitoring production AI/ML workflows.
• 7 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operationalize AI/ML capabilities within MSS Foundry.
• Create agentic AI workflows for classification, summarization, routing.
• Develop robust APIs and services for Foundry integrations.
• Leverage Databricks MLOps for model lifecycle management and deployment.
• Implement automated model validation, monitoring, and improvement processes.
• Ensure AI/ML solutions scale in production environments.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data for mission workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into AI/ML solutions.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Apply responsible AI, security, data governance, and DoD compliance.
