Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a senior CPSO/security professional to support a fast-paced program and manage security for classified materials. You will develop and administer security procedures, build relationships with customers, and ensure compliance with DoD and NISPOM guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's with 6+ years of CPSO/security experience (MS degree optional) and a current Top Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and DoD regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of CPSO, security or related experience.
• An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's.
• Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a fast‑paced, high profile program.
• Create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
• Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi‑disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC, etc.).
• Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
• Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
• Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor access to restricted records and materials.
• Conduct security education classes and related briefings.
• Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
• Work with DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures.
