Job summary

Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) seeks a TS Cleared Configuration Management Specialist III to support the U.S. Navy DCGS-N program, handling hardware and software configurations, baselines, and product releases throughout the system life cycle.

The role collaborates with engineering, T&E, cybersecurity, ILS, and software teams to ensure accurate CM records and deliverable documentation, using CMPRO and Git for configuration control and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ten years of professional experience with configuration management across hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software CM.
• Five years of CM experience supporting DCGS-N/ISR/IO/C4ISR systems.
• Experience with Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and release/control processes.
• Experience providing change management and CM guidance.
• Proficiency with CM tools, CM repositories, and baselines.

Responsibilities

• Manage CM activities for DCGS-N systems through the life cycle.
• Maintain DCGS-N hardware inventory, software configurations, and product releases.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and CM changes from initiation to closure.
• Support CCBs and LCCBs, including preparation and tracking of actions.
• Develop and update CM baselines and configuration documentation.
• Maintain CM records, baselines, software versions, and implementation status.
• Provide CM guidance to program personnel and stakeholders.
• Utilize CMPRO, Git, and DevOps tools for CM and releases.
• Assist with CM tool administration and access controls.
• Support CM activities related to upgrades, fielding, and sustainment.
