Job summary

RTX is seeking an Information Systems Security Administrator to join onsite in Westford, MA. The role requires Top Secret clearance, US citizenship, and hands-on support for Windows and Linux environments with agile collaboration across IT and security teams.

Responsibilities include maintenance, patching, asset management, documentation, and user training to ensure secure, efficient operations. A degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of related work is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in IT security or systems administration.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments, physical and virtual.
• Must obtain CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) within 90 days of employment.
• U.S. citizenship and active security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt technical support across in‑person, phone, and electronic channels while maintaining desktop environments on Windows and Linux.
• Perform routine system maintenance, including antivirus updates, patching, and proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of servers, software, and hardware.
• Manage hardware and software assets with accurate inventory control and user account administration.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide user training to support consistent processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and ISSEs to deploy and validate new IT and security solutions in Agile (Scrum) environments.
