Job summary

AnaVation LLC in Huntsville, Alabama seeks an experienced ETL/Data Migration Engineer (Mid) to support large-scale data migrations for a federal modernization program. You will execute ETL workflows, transform and validate data, and ensure quality while collaborating with senior staff and cross-functional teams on mission-critical cycles.

The role requires on-site work at the customer location in Huntsville and an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of hands on experience in ETL operations, data transformation, or data migration.
• Experience with structured and unstructured datasets and transformation logic.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, scripting languages, and data pipeline operations.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within multi team, fast paced technical environments.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site at our customer location in Huntsville, Alabama.
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for SCI and CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Execute ETL workflows for structured and unstructured datasets migrating to cloud environments.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, normalization, and enrichment per specs.
• Troubleshoot transformation issues and coordinate resolution with senior ETL and data engineering staff.
• Support automation improvements to enhance repeatability and reliability of ETL operations.
• Prepare datasets for migration cycles, including pre-migration checks and staging.
• Assist during large scale extraction events, test cycles, and cutover operations.
• Monitor pipelines and validate performance during data movements.
• Document data maps, ETL logs, and transformation procedures.
