Job summary

Acloché LLC on behalf of a client seeks an experienced Paralegal to join an estate and trust administration team in Naples. This full-time, onsite role focuses on Florida probate, trust settlement, and related federal transfer tax filings.

The ideal candidate will manage asset collection to final distributions, draft pleadings, prepare federal tax returns, and coordinate schedules while maintaining clear client communication and liaising with families.

Qualifications

• Experience in Florida estate and trust administration or probate is required.
• Strong understanding of probate, trust, and federal transfer tax processes.
• Experience with Florida e-filing systems and probate software.
• Paralegal certificate or formal legal training; 4-year degree preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and estate/trust software platforms.
• Excellent writing, organization, and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage estate and trust administration from asset collection to final distributions.
• Prepare inventories, schedules, and accountings from multiple data sources.
• Draft probate pleadings and fiduciary documents for review and e-filing.
• Assist in preparing estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns (Form 706, 709, 1041).

• Maintain clear client communication and act as liaison between attorneys and families.
• Use legal and tax software platforms to streamline filings and documentation.
• Edit and proofread all work for accuracy and compliance with Florida and federal law.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage estate and trust administration from asset collection to final distributions
• Prepare inventories, schedules, and accountings using data from multiple sources
• Draft probate pleadings and fiduciary documents for review and e-filing
• Assist in preparing estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns (Form 706, Form 709, Form 1041)
• Coordinate deadlines, monitor case schedules, and support attorneys proactively
• Maintain clear client communication and act as liaison between attorneys and families
• Use legal and tax software platforms to streamline filings and documentation
• Edit and proofread all work for accuracy and compliance with Florida and federal law

What You Bring:

• Background in Florida estate and trust administration (at least 5 years)
• Strong understanding of probate, trust, and tax processes, including federal transfer taxes
