Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years trusts and estates experience preferred.
• Experience with estate planning, probate and trust administration.
• Knowledge of federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage client matters independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Draft and implement estate planning documents including wills and trusts.
• Advise on wealth transfer strategies, gift and estate tax planning.
• Counsel fiduciaries on trust and estate administration.
• Handle probate and trust administration from inception to completion.
• Assist family-owned businesses with succession planning.
• Collaborate with tax, corporate, real estate and litigation teams.
• Conduct legal research on federal and Florida estate, gift, and probate laws.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to firm growth.
• Participate in networking and business development activities.
