A well-established boutique law firm is seeking a Trust & Estate Attorney to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated estate planning and wealth management matters, advising high-net-worth individuals and families while handling complex trust and estate work in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage estate planning matters from initial client consultation through implementation
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and advanced planning structures
- Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, asset protection, and tax-efficient planning
- Handle trust and estate administration, including probate processes and fiduciary guidance
- Work directly with high-net-worth individuals and families on long-term planning needs
- Collaborate with internal attorneys and external advisors such as CPAs and financial planners
- Assist with trust and estate disputes or litigation matters, as needed
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to ongoing advisory services
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in estate planning, trusts & estates, or related practice area
- Experience drafting estate planning documents and handling administration matters
- Understanding of tax implications related to estate planning (LL.M. in Tax is a plus)
- Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a detail-oriented environment
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients is preferred
- Active Florida Bar admission (or ability to obtain)
Salary and Other Compensation
- The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $160,000 annually
- Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate
