Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management seeks a Trust Administrator in Dallas to support the Global Trusts & Estates Practice.

You will work with account opening, interpret instruments, and coordinate administration of estate and trust accounts in line with governing documents and applicable law. The role emphasizes client relationship management with beneficiaries and advisors, collaboration with Wealth Advisors, and ongoing education to stay current on fiduciary rules, tax concepts, and JPM's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, with additional advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
• Experience in trust and estates administration including fiduciary products and concepts (legal, tax, investments).
• Strong problem solving, risk management, and client servicing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Open estate or trust accounts with the Account Opening Group and set up records, including payments and tax records.
• Interpret governing instruments and applicable law for proper account setup and communications with beneficiaries and co-executors/trustees.
• Analyze wills and trust documents for legal, tax, administrative and investment issues and coordinate services.
• Manage day-to-day administration of accounts and minimize service/operational issues.
• Collaborate with Tax Officers and trust counsel to resolve tax issues.
• Develop relationships with beneficiaries and advisors to meet fiduciary duties and client needs.
• Assist in growing the trust and estate business through cross-selling JPM products/services and working with Wealth Advisors, Bankers, Investors, and Trust Officers.
• Commit to ongoing training and development in fiduciary duties, trust concepts, and tax knowledge.
