Job summary

TikTok is seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence professional to empower data-driven decisions across Trust & Safety operations. You will own scalable analytics, automate data workflows, and help design robust reporting that surfaces critical metrics for moderation and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborate with operations, engineering, and platform teams, and evaluate AI/automation technologies to improve data accessibility and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data automation, analytics, or a related analyst role.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and technical concepts into actionable business insights.
• Proficient in Excel automation, data pipeline development, and scripting for automation tasks, including proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, automation, and scalable data workflows.
• Experience applying data quality, validation, and governance best practices to ensure accurate, reliable, and trustworthy analytics.
• Understanding of relational databases and/or data warehousing for concepts (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Proven analytical problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and process optimization.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into scalable analytics and automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable data workflows (e.g. Scheduled SQL queries, Python scripts or RPA bots).
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and platform teams to improve systems integration and data flow between platforms (e.g. workflow tools and databases).
• Build, design, and monitor reporting tools that surface key metrics and operational insights.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, data definitions, and user documentation to support scalable analytics solutions.
• Evaluate emerging analytics, automation, and AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and data accessibility.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards across automated reporting and AI‑assisted workflows to support accurate, reliable decision-making.
