Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, escape, and resolve a variety of situations with excellent judgement.
• Dive deeply with internal teams to understand how their businesses work.
• Formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create concise, well-written statements.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets/reporters.
• Manage incoming media inquiries, correct inaccuracies, and lay groundwork for future story development.
• Speak with reporters to get more information and push back on inaccuracies.
• Represent Amazon as a spokesperson with credibility and poise.
• Help manage external PR firms as necessary.
