North Point Trust Company is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the trust operations team in the day-to-day administration of client accounts, entity records, and payment processing across a portfolio of trust-held entities and custodial accounts. This role suits someone with 1–3 years of experience in financial services, trust operations, banking, paralegal support, or related administrative work.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in financial services or trust operations, banking, paralegal support, or related admin role; training provided.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; comfortable with internal systems.
• Ability to follow established procedures with precision and flag exceptions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines while handling sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Process checks, wires, and ACH transactions per dual-control procedures.
• Prepare payment requests for review and approval; maintain wire and payment logs.
• Support daily reconciliation activities and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and update entity records; track franchise taxes and annual reports.
• Support invoicing, filing, and documentation organization; help improve checklists and workflows.
