JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Newark, DE seeks a Trust Officer VP in Wealth Management Solutions, Trust & Estates to oversee trust administration, analyze documents for legal, tax and investment issues, and develop relationships with beneficiaries and advisors.

You will partner with Wealth Advisors for new trust business, vet discretionary decisions, and ensure fiduciary duties are met while delivering superior client service. A strong background in fiduciary practice is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• In-depth knowledge of fiduciary products and services, including legal, tax and regulatory requirements for fiduciary relationships.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience focused in the Trust business; either at a corporate fiduciary or a law firm.
• Comprehensive knowledge of trust law, gifting techniques, income, transfer, and generation skipping taxation, with ability to apply that knowledge to client planning and account administration.

Responsabilités

• Analyze trust documents for legal, tax, administrative and investment issues and coordinate delivery of services.
• Make recommendations regarding discretionary powers as trustee.
• Oversee investment decisions, ensuring alignment with objectives and fiduciary law and adherence to investment guidelines (Mandate).
• Work with Tax Officers and trust counsel to resolve tax issues.
• Address questions raised by beneficiaries, co-trustees and their advisors.
• Work in a team-based environment.
• Develop relationships with beneficiaries and advisors to meet grantor’s purposes and fiduciary duties; maintain current information on beneficiaries.
• Partner with Wealth Advisors on vetting and pricing of new trust business and understanding trust purposes, risks and client expectations.
• Cross-selling of JPM products/services; maintain and develop strategies for increasing business with current clients.
