The ideal candidate holds a JD from an accredited law school, is an active California Bar member, and has several years of trust-litigation experience, including pleadings, depositions, and settlements, plus strong research and writing

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage trust litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.
• Represent clients in disputes involving trusts, estates, trustees, beneficiaries, and fiduciary issues.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex issues involving trust and estate law.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts as appropriate.
• Develop litigation and case strategies based on the facts and applicable law.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations and other dispute-resolution proceedings.
• Appear at hearings, conferences, and court proceedings.
• Work closely with clients, experts, and other legal professionals throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines and billing requirements.

Our client is seeking an experienced Trust Litigation Attorney with several years of focused experience handling trust and estate-related litigation matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in trust litigation who can independently manage matters, develop effective litigation strategies, and provide high-quality legal representation to clients.
