Orion Placement is seeking a Trusts & Estates litigation attorney in Sacramento, CA. The role involves representing clients in probate-related disputes, handling depositions, motions, petitions, and trial preparation, with direct client contact and collaboration with experienced partners.

Must have active California Bar licensure and 2+ years of relevant experience. Hybrid work schedule with some remote days offered and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in trust and probate litigation matters in California courts.
• Handle discovery, law and motion practice, petitions, and other litigation proceedings.
• Take depositions and develop case strategies with increasing independence.
• Draft and argue petitions, motions, briefs, and other advocacy materials.
• Prepare for and participate in trials and evidentiary proceedings.
• Analyze estate planning documents and trust administration issues in disputes.
• Communicate directly with sophisticated, high-net-worth clients.
• Work closely with partners and attorneys across the Trusts & Estates practice.

Pay:

$165,000.00 - $187,500.00 per year
