Job summary

NewEdge Wealth is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support the Wealth Strategy practice. The role focuses on reviewing, summarizing estate planning documents, including trusts, entity and transactional documents, and coordinating with advisors to navigate estate planning software.

The position involves handling complex structures for ultra-high-net-worth clients, maintaining organized systems, and ensuring proper execution of documents and filings.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate preferred.
• 3-7 years of estate planning, trust and estate administration, corporate or transactional law experience.
• Strong document review and issue-spotting abilities.
• Experience with trust or estate documents and related software.

Responsibilities

• Review, summarize, and analyze estate planning documents including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Review entity documents such as LLC operating agreements, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements.
• Review transactional documents like purchase agreements and identify key provisions.
• Summarize documents into standardized internal formats and maintain tracking logs.
• Coordinate with outside attorneys and custodians to ensure proper execution and deadlines.
