LHH is seeking an experienced Estates and Trusts Paralegal for a fast-paced law firm client in the United States. Direct hire opportunity with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of estates and trusts paralegal experience, familiarity with estate documents and tax returns, and proficiency with various software programs. Strong proofreading, communication, and client service skills are required.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate is preferred or prior experience in Estates & Trusts within a law firm.
• Lackner 6-in-1 software experience is desirable.
• High attention to detail is essential.
• Trustworthy and ethical; client service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deeds; asset spreadsheets and probate pleadings.
• Draft correspondence and legal documents.
• Organize and maintain client files.
• Assist with preparing federal estate tax and gift tax returns.
