Job summary

LeoForce in Newport Beach, CA seeks a mid-level attorney to lead trust and estate litigation matters end to end, including strategy, budgeting, and timelines. The role requires 2–5 years of recent probate and fiduciary disputes experience and strong research and advocacy skills.

The ideal candidate is licensed in California, can manage a caseload independently, and will work closely with clients and opposing counsel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of trust & estate litigation experience, including probate and fiduciary disputes.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy; motion practice and deposition experience.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload with strategic thinking and urgency.
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.

• Lead trust and estate litigation matters end to end, including case strategy, budgeting, and timelines.
• Draft and argue pleadings, law and motion, discovery, trial briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct and defend depositions; manage written discovery and e-discovery.
• Handle mediations, settlement conferences, and regular court appearances.
• Liaise directly with clients, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, experts, and opposing counsel.
