Job summary

Google is seeking a Trust & Safety Analyst focused on developer experience programs and ecosystem success. You will enable developers to build, publish, and scale safe applications across the ecosystem and serve as the SME for Android verification and related programs.

The team drives risk reduction while maintaining a positive developer experience, collaborating with Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers to deliver robust safety solutions and trusted platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Drive calibration and quality assurance for program operations.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ecosystem programs requirements and procedures.
  • Handle escalations and complex cases from developers and cross-functional teams.
  • Support an AI-first operation by providing critical human judgment and expertise.

Job description

In accordance with Washington state law, we are highlighting our comprehensive benefits package, which is available to all eligible US based employees. Benefits for this role include:

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in relevant field.
  • Education in, or experience with, machine learning.
  • Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
About The Job

As a Trust and Safety Analyst focused on developer experience programs and ecosystem success, you will play a pivotal role in enabling developers to build, publish, and scale safe applications across the broader ecosystem. You will act as the subject matter expert and specialist for Android developer verification and ecosystem programs such as registered app stores. You will handle complex, high-judgment disputes and manage quality frameworks for ecosystem operations, acting as a crucial bridge between policy and execution identifying friction points, refining standard operating procedures, and ensuring high standards for safety while maintaining a positive developer experience.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
