Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business preferred but not required.
• At least one year of experience in financial services or trust administration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with emphasis on accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and maintenance of trust accounts, including document preparation and client communications.
• Support the processing of trust transactions, distributions, and investments, ensuring fiduciary standards.
• Aid in retaining client relationships by being responsive to servicing needs.
• Participate in client meetings and take notes, assisting in follow-up items.
• Monitor trust accounts for unusual activity and escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency in trust processing.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliation and reporting.
• Stay informed about changes in trust laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
