Job summary

Atlantic Group is seeking a skilled Trust Accountant in Massachusetts to maintain accurate records for fiduciary accounts and to record and reconcile trust activity. You will review transactions for proper coding and assist with the preparation of statements and reports.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. This position offers full-time employment in a collaborative team environment with focus on complex trust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting, trust accounting, fiduciary operations, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records for trust, estate, and other fiduciary accounts.
• Record and reconcile trust income, expenses, distributions, contributions, and other account activity.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Review transactions for appropriate coding, documentation, and authorization.
• Assist with preparation of trust accounting statements and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate records of principal and income activity.
• Support accounting for complex trust structures, including multiple beneficiaries and investment accounts.
• Assist with fiduciary accounting matters and research as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
