Drexel Systems LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Truss Designer to transform architectural visions into precise truss designs for wall, roof, and floor systems. As virtual builder, you interpret drawings, calculate structural loads, and generate manufacturing designs and field layouts to guide production and on-site crews.

You will collaborate with internal teams and occasionally meet clients to review plans, stay current with building codes, and use MiTek and iStruct to ensure accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Produce detailed truss designs for roof, wall, and floor systems.
• Apply load transfer knowledge and code compliance.
• Produce manufacturing files and field layouts.
• Collaborate with production teams and field crews.
• Stay current with design software updates (MiTek, iStruct).

Responsibilities
