The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience with proprietary design software. Qualifications

• Knowledge of company products sufficient to determine appropriate structural applications.
• Mathematics and measurement skills.
• Use of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.

Responsibilities

• Produce floor and roof truss placement plans and design drawings.
• Review other designers' work to reduce design errors.
• Communicate technical aspects of plans to customers and contractors.
