Qualifications

• No prior truss experience required; woodworking/construction/manufacturing helpful.
• Ability to read, write, follow instructions and tape measure.
• Strong attendance, safety, quality, productivity and teamwork emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Move pre-cut lumber and components to the work area and position parts accurately in the truss jig.
• Pull connector plates and follow layouts and cutting bills.
• Work closely with the Truss Setup / Team Leader and production team.
• Install and press connector plates at web and chord joints.
• Coordinate material substitutions with the Production Manager when needed.
• Inspect finished trusses to meet quality standards.
• Move completed trusses through the finish press and prepare for next stage.
• Keep work area organized and contribute to an efficient, team-focused environment.
