Job summary

Staffmark in Pillager, MN is seeking a Truss Builder to assemble wooden roof and floor trusses using hand and power tools. The role runs 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and strong mechanical aptitude, with ability to read blueprints and measurements. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing throughout the shift.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, or technical documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.
  • Accurately read a tape measure and be able to supply your own 20oz hammer and tape measure
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.

As a Truss Builder you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions.
