Job summary

Zeeland Lumber & Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Truss Assembler I in Michigan to join our manufacturing and distribution operation. You will lay out, assemble, and band truss components, stock materials, and read shop drawings for plate sizes and patterns.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and operate basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Lay out truss supplies and materials on carts or floor and stock plates for component set-up.
• Assemble components under the direction of the line leaders.
• Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.
• Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
• Read shop drawings to identify plate sizes, plate gauges, girder truss nailing and bolt patterns.
