Job summary

Zeeland Lumber & Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a Truss Assembler II to join our Zeeland, MI operations. You will lay out materials, assemble truss components, and read shop drawings to ensure correct plate sizes and stacking order.

You’ll operate routers, saws, presses, and staple guns, while maintaining safety and organization on the shop floor. Experience in carpentry is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Prior carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
• Read shop drawings to identify plate sizes and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lay out truss supplies and stock components for setup.
• Read shop drawings to determine plate sizes and stacking order.
• Load and band finished materials for transport.
• Operate assembly equipment to build truss components.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety rules.
• Maintain regular attendance and keep bays clean and organized.
