Intercept Health is seeking a part-time Residential Specialist to serve as a positive role model for residents and support treatment planning. The role emphasizes modeling constructive values, attitudes, and behaviors within residents and requires weekend availability.

Education paths include a Bachelor's in Human Services or an Associate's with experience, or a HS diploma with applicable experience, or Virginia Peer Recovery Specialist certification progress.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services is required OR
• Associate's Degree with at least three months experience working with adults with substance use disorders OR
• HS Diploma/GED with at least six months experience working with adults with substance use disorders OR
• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist (VA) or actively pursuing certification

We are currently seeking a Residential Specialist who will be responsible for serving as a positive role model for residents. The Residential Specialist contributes to the formulation and implementation of resident treatment plans and works via role modeling to develop socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors within residents.

Education & Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services OR An Associate's Degree and at least three months experience working with adults with substance use disorders OR A High School Diploma or G.E.D with at least six months of experience working with adults with substance use disorders; OR Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist for the State of Virginia or working towards obtaining Certification and maintain the requirements of a Peer Recovery Specialist per those guidelines.
