Job summary

Intercept Health is seeking a Residential Specialist to serve as a positive role model for residents and support the treatment planning process. This role helps develop residents' social values, attitudes, and behaviors through direct daily interactions.

Requirements include a related degree or certification pathway and experience with adults with substance use disorders. Flexible scheduling includes weekends and PRN availability, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or equivalent experience in the field.
• Associate's Degree with at least three months experience with adults with substance use disorders or HS Diploma/GED with six months experience in the same.
• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist or working toward certification and meeting guidelines.

$20 - $24.03 per hour, depending on experience

This position is for part-time or PRN availability, weekends required.

We are currently seeking a Residential Specialist who will be responsible for serving as a positive role model for residents. The Residential Specialist contributes to the formulation and implementation of resident treatment plans and works via role modeling to develop socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors within residents.

Education & Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services OR An Associate's Degree and at least three months experience working with adults with substance use disorders OR A High School Diploma or G.E.D with at least six months of experience working with adults with substance use disorders; OR Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist for the State of Virginia or working towards obtaining Certification and maintain the requirements of a Peer Recovery Specialist per those guidelines.
