Job summary

Sinclair, Inc. in Santa Monica is seeking a journalist-focused content producer to pitch, research, script, shoot, and edit compelling true crime content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms.

You will work with reporters, researchers and editors to uncover case details, manage assets, and deliver timely, credible stories across formats. Travel may be required for coverage and development.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, script, shoot, present and edit original video content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other Criminally Obsessed platforms.
• Produce mid-form narrative and creator-led content while contributing quick-turn, short-form and daily news coverage.
• Create platform-specific videos, social graphics, thumbnails and promotional assets following brand guidelines.
• Take ownership of assigned content from approval through completion, meeting editorial and production deadlines.
