Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group in Santa Monica seeks an experienced Digital Content Creator with a strong on-camera presence to pitch, shoot, produce and edit original content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

You will travel nationwide to uncover compelling stories, develop timely ideas, and host long-form YouTube content with engaging storytelling. Collaborate with teams to grow Amazing America's audience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years writing/producing original content in print, video, and social.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on video production including shooting, lighting, sound recording & editing.
• On-camera experience required; prior hosting, interviewing, or presenting on camera is essential.
• Impeccable spelling and grammar, understanding of social media trends and vertical video editing.
• Strong familiarity with audience analytics across platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
• Collaborative, highly organized and adaptable to evolving team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, shoot and edit content across multiple digital and social platforms.
• Attend editorial meetings and develop timely, curiosity-driven story ideas.
• Ideate and collaborate in developing new recurring series and platform-native formats.
• Confidently lead and host long-form YouTube content with strong storytelling and on-camera presence.
• Travel regularly to communities across the country to uncover and report stories.
• Capture high-quality video and audio in studio and field environments; work independently.
• Write scripts, interview questions, social copy and promotional content.
• Research and scout locations and interview subjects; obtain necessary permissions.
• Coordinate with publishing operations to maintain the editorial calendar and content pipeline.
• Review analytics and translate insights into actionable steps to increase engagement.
• Represent the Amazing America brand on camera with authenticity, curiosity, humor, and professionalism.
