Job summary

LST Group LLC in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative for our truckload team. You will source, qualify, and secure capacity, build carrier relationships, and execute freight on time and profitably.

This role uses a TMS and market data to select carriers, negotiate rates, and maintain routing guides. You will manage high-volume loads with discipline and integrity, ensuring service quality.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of carrier sales or related experience.
• Experience with dry van and reefer preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, qualify, and secure truckload capacity across lanes and markets.
• Build long-term relationships with reliable carriers and develop capacity.
• Follow onboarding, vetting, verification, and approval procedures before tender.
• Use TMS, load boards, and market data to select carriers and execute shipments.
• Verify carrier, driver, and equipment; escalate discrepancies or fraud risk.
• Negotiate competitive carrier rates while protecting service and margins.
• Build and maintain routing guides based on performance and availability.
• Provide load instructions, monitor shipments, and maintain documentation in the TMS.
