Job summary

Salem Carriers is hiring truck washers/fuelers to clean and fuel tractor-trailers and straight trucks. With over 55 years of experience and 40 full-service shop locations in the Southeast, we offer a stable fleet and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include fueling and washing equipment, checking fluids and tires, completing fuel tickets, complying with safety guidelines, shuttling vehicles as needed, and maintaining shop cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 1 year mechanic experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Check fluid levels, tire pressure, tire tread depth, and hub oil levels.
• Complete fuel tickets.
• Comply with all safety, DOT, and OSHA guidelines.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.
• Shuttle vehicles when necessary to/from customer locations to perform timely inspections, washing, etc.
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas.
• Perform other tasks as directed by service manager or immediate supervisor.
