Job summary

Salem Carriers is seeking a Truck Washer/Fueler to clean and fuel tractor-trailers and straight trucks at our Jacksonville, FL site. You will fuel and wash equipment, check fluids and tire conditions, and complete fuel tickets while following DOT, OSHA, and company safety rules.

The role includes shuttling vehicles to customer locations for inspections and washings, maintaining shop cleanliness, and performing other tasks as directed by the service manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year mechanic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fuel and wash equipment as needed.
• Check fluid levels, tire pressure, tire tread depth, and hub oil levels.
• Complete fuel tickets.
• Comply with all safety, DOT, and OSHA guidelines.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.
• Shuttle vehicles when necessary to/from customer locations to perform timely inspections, washing, etc.
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas.
• Perform other tasks as directed by service manager or immediate supervisor
