Job summary

Salem Carriers is hiring truck washers/fuelers to clean and fuel tractor-trailers and straight trucks. The role helps keep our fleet in motion and supports shop maintenance needs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and about 1 year of mechanic experience. Benefits include health/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, paid holidays and vacation, education reimbursement, and a sign-on bonus. Average pay is around $750+ weekly.

• Ability to follow safety guidelines and DOT/OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Fuel and wash equipment as needed.
• Check fluid levels, tire pressure, tire tread depth, and hub oil levels.
• Complete fuel tickets.
• Comply with safety, DOT, and OSHA guidelines.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.
• Shuttle vehicles to/from customer locations for inspections and washing.
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the service manager or supervisor.
