Charger Logistics Inc. is expanding its Romulus service department and seeks a motivated technician to diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on critical vehicle systems while maintaining equipment readiness and safety compliance.

The role offers growth in a dynamic, employee-focused environment. Based in Romulus, the department emphasizes reliability, cost efficiency, and timely service for drivers and owner-operators.

Competenze

• Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred but not required
• Knowledge of truck parts, equipment and repairs
• Familiarity with DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset
• Strong problem solving with ability to find timely solutions
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent time management and organization for efficient maintenance

Mansioni

• Receive driver and owner/operator reports and perform initial inspections using test drives and instruments
• Carry out preventative maintenance, brake repairs, electrical diagnostics, steering and suspension for medium/heavy trucks
• Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components
• Aim to get equipment back up and running in the most cost-efficient way
• Follow Charger safety procedures in every task
