Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a tire service technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger cars, light and heavy trucks, and industrial vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical issues on semi-trucks, respond to roadside calls with a service truck, and perform fleet inspections.

Role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 30–250 lbs., and willingness to work flexible hours. Training is provided; health and retirement benefits are offered, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 30–250 lbs. with or without aids.
• Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks, and industrial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers.
• Respond to roadside service calls using a service truck.
• Operate Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) and related tools.
• Conduct fleet inspections and routine maintenance.
• Assist with inventory loading, unloading and counts.
