Peterbilt Motors Company, part of PACCAR, offers an internship for students enrolled in college to join our Resident Engineering team in Denton, Texas. You will work on truck systems and software support projects, analyzing data and helping develop dashboards and reporting tools.

The role emphasizes monitoring, troubleshooting, and documenting features while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and insights for broader business operations.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or a related program.

Responsabilidades

• Shadow and assist team members in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting truck fleet management systems and software platforms.
• Gather and consolidate operational data from various truck systems, databases, and reports for analysis.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist in creating spreadsheets, dashboards, and automated reporting tools to streamline team workflows.
• Evaluate current team processes and recommend data-driven solutions to enhance productivity.
• Help document software features, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices used by the Truck Systems & Software Support team.
• Work with other departments to understand how truck systems impact broader business operations.
• Support the team with special projects and assignments as assigned by management.
