Reser\'s Fine Foods in Beaverton, OR is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee all fleet and equipment for the transportation department. You will manage tractors, trailers, and shop operations while leading mechanics and implementing maintenance schedules.

The role requires 5+ years of fleet management, a high school diploma, and strong communication; there is emphasis on DOT/OSHA compliance and cost control. Office and shop environment; some travel; bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years fleet management experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic mechanics of tractors and trailers.
• Excellent PC skills.
• Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages all company tractors, trailers, straight trucks, and two truck shops.
• Hire, trains, and supervises mechanics.
• Develops and implements preventative maintenance schedules for all company trucks/equipment.
• Manages 100 straight trucks and 180 tractor trailers.
• Coordinates and prioritizes cost effective truck/equipment repair.
• Ensures with DOT, OSHA, and safety compliance, record keeping and reporting.
• Maintenance and reporting of fleet costs.
• Manages acquisitions and disposal processes.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
