Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance staff, oversee repairs, equipment installation, and preventative maintenance in a refrigerated food manufacturing environment.

The role requires extensive maintenance experience, electrical/mechanical expertise, and the ability to manage safety and performance while coordinating with plant operations. Excellent communication in English (Spanish a plus) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 10+ years maintenance experience is required.
• Electrical and mechanical experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Training experience is preferred.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

• Manages maintenance employees and oversees automated technology.
• Troubleshoots problems with Human-Machine Interface and Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Maintains employee relations and evaluates job performance.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and follow-through.
• Makes repairs using a Business Planning and Control System.
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages maintenance employees and oversee automated technology.
• Troubleshoots problems with Human-Machine Interface and Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Maintains employee relations and evaluates job performance.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and follow-through.
• Makes repairs using a Business Planning and Control System.
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.

Job Specifications

Working Conditions

• Refrigerated food manufacturing plant.
• The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F.
• Frequent exposure to hazardous material and conditions.
• Occasional lifting, kneeling, and bending with items in excess of 100 lbs is required.
• Travel 5% of the time.

This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
