Job summary

Resers Fine Foods is seeking a seasoned Fleet and Equipment Manager to oversee all tractors, trailers, and shop operations at our Beaverton facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, cost control, and DOT/OSHA compliance.

You will hire and supervise mechanics, coordinate repair work, manage fleet costs, and ensure safe, reliable transportation for our distribution network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years fleet management experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of basic mechanics and operation of tractor trailers and straight trucks.
• Excellent PC skills are required.
• Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages all company tractors, trailers, straight trucks, and two truck shops.
• Hire, trains, and supervises mechanics.
• Develops and implements preventative maintenance schedules for all company trucks/equipment.
• Manages 100 straight trucks and 180 tractor trailers.
• Coordinates and prioritizes cost effective truck/equipment repair.
• Ensures with DOT, OSHA, and safety compliance, record keeping and reporting.
• Maintenance and reporting of fleet costs.
• Manages acquisitions and disposal processes.
