Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers seeks an experienced Service Technician to service vehicles and equipment while delivering top-notch customer service. Responsibilities include reading orders, inspecting parts, and conducting safe, effective repairs with guidance from manuals and bulletins.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of fleet or dealership experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably ASE certification or CDL.

Qualifications

• 1-year fleet or dealership experience.
• Comfort with basic diagnostic reading and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job orders, observe vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan procedures.
• Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
• Examine guards, bolts, and safety devices, and adjust as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure smooth operation.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and keep up with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
